Andrey Rublev (10) vs. Daniil Medvedev (3)

2019 US Open Semifinalist Daniil Medvedev would play an amazing match against the tenth-seeded Russian compatriot Andrey Rublev today.

In the opening set, each player would hold their serve all the way to a tiebreak. In the tiebreak, Medvedev would prevail, 8-6, to take the set 7-6 (8-6).

In the second set, Medvedev would get one break of Rublev’s serve, in the sixth game, to take the set 6-3. In the third set, each player would once again hold their serve all the way to a tiebreak.

In this tiebreak, Medvedev would win, 7-5, to take the set 7-6 (7-5) and the match 7-6 (8-6), 6-3, 7-6 (7-5).

Alex de Minaur (21) vs. Dominic Thiem (2)

The second-seeded Dominic Thiem would play an impressive first set against the twenty-first-seeded Alex de Minaur today. In the opening set, Thiem would break de Minaur’s serve three times to take the set 6-1.

In the second set, Thiem would dominate again, getting two breaks to take the set 6-2. In the third set, despite a good effort from de Minaur, Thiem would get two breaks to take the set 6-4 and the match 6-1, 6-2, 6-4.
