Alize Cornet vs. Brenda Fruhvirtova

In the first-ever women’s Ultimate Tennis Showdown match, Alize Cornet would start off well against Brenda Fruhvirtova.

Cornet would take the first quarter 16-11 to take a one quarter lead, and the second quarter 16-10 to take a commanding two quarter lead.

In the third quarter, Alize Cornet would defeat Brenda Fruhvirtova 13-12 to win the match 16-11, 16-10, 13-12.

Ons Jabeur vs. Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova

After a tight first quarter, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova would have a one quarter lead against Ons Jabeur, taking the quarter 16-14.

In the second quarter, Pavlyuchenkova would take an authoritative two quarter lead by defeating Jabeur 15-10. Stuck between a rock and a hard place in the third quarter, Jabeur couldn’t quite get it done against Pavlyuchenkova.

Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova would defeat Jabeur 16-10 to take the match 16-14, 15-10, 16-10.
