ATP Player Relations Update

The ATP Player Relations has released a statement letting its players know that they will provide an update on the 2020 calendar later this week.

Here is the official press release from the ATP Player Relations:

Dear Players,

We wanted to thank those of you who were able to join the all players’ call last Wednesday and for sharing your concerns and questions.

The call mentioned above was one with several of the players on the ATP Tour.

We are in continual communication with the ATP Player Council and the Player Board representatives on next steps with regards to the return to competition in 2020, and all related topics.

Looking ahead, we expect to have an update for all players and their teams on the 2020 calendar later this week. We will provide you with all available information once confirmed, and we encourage you to reach out to the Tour Managers and other Player Relations staff members with any questions.

Although this letter didn’t have much of importance, it does confirm that the 2020 calendar should be released no later than this week.

The calendar was eventually released and the ATP will be coming back pending anymore cases of COVID-19 during exhibition tournaments.
